Nearly 500 people are members of Mountain Air Ranch, which has received awards for being
the friendliest nudist resort in the US. The pleasure of leaving the city, passing through our gate
and relaxing in the natural atmosphere is truly remarkable. The comradery, friendship and sense
of community are truly rewarding and comforting. We would love for you to join us.
If you live within 90 miles, your 1st visit is free of ground’s fees. You may visit 2 more times, paying the appropriate fees to decide if you would like to become a member or stop visiting. You are welcome to continue visiting during the application process, paying the appropriate fees. If you live beyond 90 miles, you may be a visitor as often as you like. If you visit often full membership may be more economical.
If you decide to join follow these steps:
Complete the membership application paperwork in the office and have your picture taken. These are confidential and only shared with office staff and our membership committee.
Obtain signatures from 6 Membership Committee members. We have a committee of 12 volunteer members who you can meet and chat with before requesting they sign your card.
This steps super simple once you meet and have 6 signatures from our membership committee turn in your card to the office and your part in the process is complete.
Once the office has the completed set of application paperwork, photo, and signature card they handoff your completed file to the committee for them to discuss your prospective membership at their next monthly meeting .
After the committee comes to a decision on your application, the chair of the committee will reach out to you. If you are approved they will give you the next steps to start enjoying you membership at MAR!
We offer two types of membership to Mountain Air Ranch, Full Member and Friends of MAR.
Mountain Air Ranch is a not-for-profit social club run by a volunteer member-elected Board of Directors. We are a community built on volunteerism and one of the best ways for a member to volunteer is to join one of our committees:
Our Board consists of seven directors: four elected by members and three by the board. Full members can vote during the fall general membership meeting. The Board guides MAR’s business operations, providing a roadmap for the future.
Elected by Full Members, the Membership Committee requires two years of membership to join. Responsibilities include welcoming prospective members, approving new applicants, planning mixers, giving tours to visitors, and ensuring MAR remains a peaceful retreat for all.
Are you a social butterfly or love hosting? Join the Events Committee! They plan dances, family events, and more, ensuring our social club remains vibrant. Any member can host events with the events committee’s support.
The fact you're reading this shows the Publicity Committee is effective! They keep members informed with newsletters and emails and manage MAR’s public image through social media and the website.
With over 150 acres of beautiful mountain property, the Facilities Committee assists with upkeep, from planting flowers to fire mitigation and trail cleanup, supporting our grounds crew in maintaining MAR’s natural beauty.
You know when you love being somewhere so much you never want to leave? For many of our site holders this is their average weekend at MAR: start the day with morning sauna sessions, meals at the Lost Bikini Grill, and poolside relaxation. Activities include paddleball, exercise, and ice cream at the Skinny Dips Parlor. End your day with evening events like dances or karaoke, and then retire to their site to do it all again tomorrow.
