All first-time visitor are required to schedule an appointment for a tour of the grounds.
During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to see the club facilities and have any questions you may have answered. You'll also get a better understanding of what to expect during your visit.
You will need to complete paperwork at the office before being allowed on the grounds including reviewing and signing our Standards of Conduct. Please remember to bring the following on your visit.
During the orientation & tour, visitors may remain clothed, but plan to go nude during your visit. Nudity is mandatory in the pool, hot tub, and sauna. At Mountain Air Ranch, guests are expected to be "clothed when practical, nude when appropriate." First-time visitors are encouraged to disrobe slowly as they become comfortable in the nude environment.
Conduct yourself in a manner that would be considered acceptable at any other public social gathering. Remember, nudity does not have any particular sexual connotation, and visitors and members are expected to respect the individuality and freedom of others.
New visitors who live within 90 miles of Mountain Air Ranch get their first visit free. After that you are welcome to visit two more times to determine if you want to join as a member of Mountain Air Ranch. Check out more about membership and how to join here.
We recommend the following:
Polite nudist etiquette means that you always carry your own towel on which to sit or lounge. You should bring a second towel to dry off at the pool, hot tub, sauna, or shower. Many wear sandals around the pool and then change to the more appropriate footwear for hiking or activities on the various types of courts.
MAR has a member ran cafe called the Lost Bikini Grille that is open seasonally, May through September. It operates on limited hours serving Dinner Friday through lunch Sunday. We also have a seasonal ice cream shop, Skinny Dips Ice Cream Parlor, open Friday Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Consider bringing your own food and drink for when the cafe is not available. The Community Kitchen has a full suite of kitchen gear and appliances and three refrigerators for storing your food. Label your items with your name and date of departure and please keep the Community Kitchen clean.
Alcohol is not sold on MAR grounds but you are welcome to BYOB, please drink responsibly.
